Born in Izmir in 1969, Çobanoğlu graduated from Dokuz Eylül University, Faculty of Fine Arts, Department of Graphic Design. In addition to the theoretical education she received at the university, Çobanoğlu gained experience in traditional wood carving by taking courses and trainings. She produced both three-dimensional sculptures and painting and etching on wood, and applies these works on old used furniture and materials through sustainable art.
