Müşerref Keleş was born on April 6, 1986. Due to her father’s profession, she completed her education in various cities across Turkey. She first studied Veterinary Laboratory Technology, and later graduated from the Fashion Design department at Aydın Adnan Menderes University. Her journey into leather craftsmanship began as a hobby in 2020 and gradually evolved into a professional practice. She has since worked as an instructor at Aydın Efeler Public Education Center and later at Urla Public Education Center. She holds professional expertise in footwear and saddlery technologies and continues her work with the aim of preserving and transmitting the traditional art of leathercraft, which is at risk of disappearing. In her workshop, she produces a wide range of items—such as bags, wallets, belts, accessories, home décor objects, and sandals—using entirely handcraft and hand-stitching techniques with genuine leather. She also teaches these production processes through hands-on training.
