Born in 1975 in Iskenderun, Yapıcı graduated from Dokuz Eylül University, Department of Jewellery Design and Goldsmithing in 2017. Yapıcı, who received trainings in modern jewellery, computer drawing and hand drawing techniques while at university, and received trainings in hasır, filigree and casting in 2007 at Aliağa Tüpraş Public Education Center. Since 2012, he has been teaching jewellery technologies at Aliağa Tüpraş Public Education Center.
