Merve Şentürk was born in Istanbul in 1985. She is a student at Istanbul University Distance Education Faculty Sociology Department. She started her marbling training in 2006, continued as a student of M. Sadreddin Özçimi after 2009, and received her license in 2015. Şentürk participated in many group exhibitions in Turkey. She still studies water color with Ahmet Öğreten and has been continuing her khatt studies with Ali Rıza Özcan at the Applied Turkish-Islamic Arts Library since 2010.
