Born in 1973, Türkyılmaz graduated from Ondokuz Mayıs University, Department of Food Science and Technology in 1994. After receiving marbling training from Serkan Ilden, Derya Gezer, Ilker Selimler, Bekir Özsu, Zehra Tin and Firdevs Çalkanoğlu, Türkyılmaz began organizing marbling workshops for children and adults, and uses her experience in traditional Turkish handicrafts such as felt and patchwork in her workshops. In addition to handicrafts, Türkyılmaz also received training in storytelling, philosophy with children, education of traditions, art therapy education, playback theater, improvisational theater and bendir, and she works as a creative drama instructor.
