Nurya Çakır Camcı was born in Samsun in 1978. She is a graduate of Istanbul University Faculty of Letters Information and Document Management Department. Camcı received training from Fuat Başar, Sadrettin Özçimi and Gülden Güldamar, and has been working on marbling art since 1995. She is currently working as a marbling instructor at Gezgin Arts House, Yeni Nesil, Mavi Kuş and Çiçek Bahçesi Kindergartens. Camcı participated in the marbling exhibition and the workshop at Pacifica Institute in Los Angeles in 2008.
