Selvi Çetin Kurtuluş was born in 1984 in Edirne. She graduated from Trakya University Architecture Department, then started to work as an architecture in Culture and Tourism Ministery. She took education in ebru branch in Başlarbaşı Turkish İslamic Arts Expertise Center for four years, then continued her ebru works with Ayşe Özlem Şişman. Çetin participated in various group expeditions. Çetin continues her MA education in İstanbul Technical University on restoration.
