Born in 1974 in Muğla, Ulubay graduated from Muğla Sıtkı Koçman University Ula Ali Koçman Vocational School Beekeeping Department Associate Degree Program in 1999, from Anadolu University Faculty of Economics Department of International Relations in 2020, and from Necmettin Erbakan University Institute of Social Sciences Traditional Turkish Arts MA program in 2024. Ulubay started taking a painting course at Muğla Metropolitan Municipality’s Iskender Alper Cultural Center in 1993 and participated in painting and marbling courses while studying at Muğla University. Ulubay, who taught marbling at Muğla Metropolitan Municipality between 2003 and 2014, and at Menteşe Municipality since 2015, has participated in various group exhibitions since 1999 and opened his first solo marbling exhibition in 2003. Ulubay continues his education and studies in the field of art at Muğla Sıtkı Koçman University Milas School Handicrafts Associate Degree Program.
