Tahmaz, born in 1968 in the Ünye district of Ordu, has been working as a master instructor in public education centers since 1996, training apprentices in embroidery and traditional felt art. Tahmaz was awarded the Intangible Cultural Heritage Bearer Artist Introduction Card by the General Directorate of Research and Education of Republic of Türkiye Ministry of Culture and Tourism in 2020. She participates in various festivals as a felt artist and continues to work to pass on her art to future generations.
