Born in 1970 in the Ereğli district of Konya, Samurcu completed her primary, secondary and high school education in Ereğli and then studied at Selçuk University Karaman Vocational School Carpet Weaving Associate Degree Program. Working in carpet and rug weaving in private carpet factories since 1992 and working as a carpet-rug weaving master instructor in various public education centers, Samurcu was given the Intangible Cultural Heritage Bearer Artist Identification Card by the General Directorate of Research and Education of Republic of Türkiye Ministry of Culture and Tourism in 2022. Samurcu is a master instructor at Denizli Merkezefendi Public Education Center.
