Learning the subleties of dastar weaving with traditional methods through the master-apprentice method from her mother-in-law, Arıcan has been continuing to produce traditional dastar with innovative and modern methods for twenty-three years in a way that can be used in different areas. Working to ensure that dastar production is passed on to future generations through the master-apprentice method, Arıcan is the first master in the Yeşilüzümlü region to receive the Intangible Cultural Heritage Bearer Artist Identification Card in the field of dastar weaving from the General Directorate of Research and Education of Republic of Türkiye Ministry of Culture and Tourism.
