Müjgan Balcı was born on December 10, 1978. She completed her high school education in the field of Decorative Arts between 1995 and 1996. In line with her interest in art and personal development, she participated in numerous courses and workshops in various disciplines. Her interest in the art of tile-making (çini) began as a hobby during 2017–2018. During this period, she received training at PESAM Tile Art Courses, Kurtköy Public Education Center, and Sancaktepe Public Education Center. She later carried her interest and desire for learning into an academic dimension and is currently continuing her studies in the Department of Tile Art at Kütahya Dumlupınar University. As part of her artistic practice, Balcı has taken part in various projects with Kifayet Erkul and exhibition works with Sezin Kara. She continues her educational and production activities with the aim of teaching traditional Turkish tile art and conveying its cultural values to different age groups.
