Selim Sağlam was born in Istanbul in 1969. He is a graduate of Anadolu University (AU) Faculty of Economics and AU Open Education Faculty Theology Associate Degree Program. Sağlam attended the Classical Arts courses given by Nilüfer Kurfeyz within the Ministry of Culture and Tourism and received a diploma. He participated in numerous group exhibitions both at home and abroad, held two joint personal exhibitions with Nilüfer Kurfeyz in 2005 and 2009. Sağlam has been doing collaboration works at Nilüfer Kurfeyz – Selim Sağlam Workshop since 1990. He still works as an illumination instructor and as a member of the Science Board at the Classical Arts Center.
