 Nebahat Ünlütürk was born in Düzce in 1933. She received her license from Ali Hüsrevoğlu in 2001, and held her first personal exhibition at Altunizade Cultural Center. Her works were exhibited in prestigious hall such as Hagia Sophia, Cemal Reşit Rey Exhibition Hall, Topkapı Palace, Lütfi Kırdar International Congress and Exhibition Palace, Dolmabahçe Palace and New Mosque Hünkâr (sultan) Pavillion. Ünlütürk, despite her old age, has held nine personal exhibitions so far. She produces her works mostly by using dye on suede leather and silk cloth. Şemsi Ünlütürk is the most successful student the artist has trained.
